What are the benefits of using supplemental CO2 in my garden?
CO2 is essential for photosynthesis to occur. Under the influence of supplemental CO2, plant metabolism is increased resulting in higher productivity rates. Growth, yield, and environmental tolerance is enhanced if used properly in a greenhouse or indoor garden.
How many lights can I plug into a lighting controller that is wired to 120V?
Running your lights at 120V (instead of 240V) will reduce the acceptable amount of ballasts used by half. For example, an 8 light controller, when wired to 120V, can only have a maximum of four 1000W ballasts plugged in. This is because the amperage drawn at 120V is twice that drawn at 240V (~10A vs. ~5A, per ballast). 240V is recommended for high amperage devices.
